To all Arkansas Otolaryngology Center patients,
As all of us continue to pull together plans and procedures to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, Arkansas Otolaryngology Center is making some changes to our procedures of patient care. We ask that you please be patient with us, as we are making the changes to protect you, our patients, and our care team members.
With that understanding, Arkansas Otolaryngology Center is announcing the following updated procedures for our patients:
If you are over the age of 70, Arkansas Otolaryngology Center is requesting that you call your local clinic before coming in for your appointment.
If you are in the health risk group, as defined by the Center for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/specific-groups/high-risk-complications.html), Arkansas Otolaryngology Center is requesting that you call your local clinic before coming in for your appointment.

For those patients that do visit your local Arkansas Otolaryngology Center location, at most locations, patients will be greeted with the following changes:
If you are bringing a minor, it is requested that only one person, in addition to the patient, come inside Arkansas Otolaryngology Center location. This applies for surgery patients, as well.
If you are an adult, non-surgical patient, and you have the ability to drive yourself, it is requested that you only attend your appointment.
At the entrance door, you will find a poster that will instruct each patient to call a phone number printed on that poster. By calling that number, Arkansas Otolaryngology Center’s office staff will be informed of your arrival to Arkansas Otolaryngology Center’s location. It is requested that all patients wait in their vehicles, until an Arkansas Otolaryngology Center care team member calls you and let’s you know you are ready to be seen.
In closing, all the care team members of Arkansas Otolaryngology Center want to provide the best and safest experience for our patients and care team members, and we feel these steps, while somewhat disruptive of the normal experience with Arkansas Otolaryngology Center, are warranted. Thank you all for your understanding, and if you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call.
