Asthma

Asthma may cause difficulty breathing for patients. It is a chronic condition where the patient’s airways become inflamed and swollen, which blocks the airflow to the lungs. This condition can be serious and even life-threatening for some.

Asthma can be diagnosed at any age, but it most commonly is not diagnosed before the age of two. It’s important to see an allergist for asthma treatment if you’ve tried treatment options with your primary care physician and are still experiencing issues. Patients can self-refer to see our allergist simply by calling our office to schedule an appointment.
